Alcohol law

Alcohol laws often seek to reduce the availability of alcoholic beverages, often with the stated purpose of reducing the health and social side effect of their consumption. This can take the form of age limits for alcohol consumption, and distribution only in licensed stores or in monopoly stores. Often, this is combined with some form of alcohol taxation. In many US states, including California, the sale, furnishing, distribution, and consumption of alcoholic beverages are heavily regulated by state agencies.[1]

Drunk driving law

Driving under the influence of alcohol is illegal in most countries with differing amounts of allowable blood alcohol content before convictions are made.
